On Wednesday, October 8th, the members of the Epirus Living Lab gathered in Frasta, Tzoumerka, hosted by the amazing team of Boulouki.
We were given a tour of their new space – currently transformed into a vibrant construction site – and got to experience firsthand their vision of reviving the old school building as a living lab of culture, collaboration, and learning.
We then visited the exhibition “Burning the bones of the earth | Stories of lime kilns on both sides of the Greece-Albania border,” as well as the cobbled path next to the iconic Plaka Bridge, part of which has been restored by Boulouki themselves.
The day continued with reflections on the progress of the Epirus Living Lab, updates from the participating initiatives, and discussion of next steps. We also dedicated time to the co-creation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will shape our collective path forward, establishing a common framework for future partners to join the network.
With a shared spirit of cooperation and exchange, we continue to shape a living laboratory of innovation for Epirus.

Συνάντηση του Epirus Living Lab στα Τζουμέρκα
Την Τετάρτη 8 Οκτωβρίου, τα μέλη του Epirus Living Lab συναντηθήκαμε στα Φράστα Τζουμέρκων, με οικοδέσποινα την ομάδα από το Μπουλούκι.
Ξεναγηθήκαμε στον νέο τους χώρο – που αυτή τη στιγμή έχει μεταμορφωθεί σε ένα ζωντανό εργοτάξιο – και γνωρίσαμε από κοντά το όραμά τους για την αναβίωση του παλιού σχολείου ως ένα εργαστήριο πολιτισμού, συνεργασίας και μάθησης.
Στη συνέχεια, επισκεφθήκαμε την έκθεση «Burning the bones of the earth | Ιστορίες ασβεσταριών στις δύο πλευρές του συνόρου Ελλάδας–Αλβανίας», καθώς και το καλντερίμι δίπλα στο γεφύρι της Πλάκας – ένα μέρος του οποίου έχει αποκαταστήσει η ίδια η ομάδα.
Ακολούθησε συζήτηση για την πορεία του ELL, τα τρέχοντα projects και τα επόμενα βήματα των εγχειρημάτων που το συγκροτούν, ενώ αφιερώσαμε χρόνο στη συνδιαμόρφωση του Μνημονίου Συνεργασίας (MoU) που θα καθορίσει τη συλλογική μας πορεία, δημιουργώντας ένα κοινό πλαίσιο και για μελλοντικούς συνεργαζόμενους φορείς.
Με κοινό πνεύμα συνεργασίας και ανταλλαγής, συνεχίζουμε να δίνουμε σχήμα σε ένα ζωντανό οικοσύστημα καινοτομίας για την Ήπειρο.
